Call for Papers
4–5 February 2026 — Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman
The Ministry of Education in the Sultanate of Oman, in partnership with the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States and the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), invites researchers from Ministries of Education in GCC countries to submit papers for the International Conference on the Teaching Profession (2026): "Sustainable Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence." Submissions must be based on published papers in peer-reviewed journals, master's or doctoral theses, or formal action research studies.
Participation Conditions
- Submissions must align with one of the conference sub-themes.
- A maximum of two researchers per submission.
- Participation is exclusively open to current employees of a Ministry of Education in a GCC country; eligibility must be maintained at submission and during the conference.
- Eligible works include master's and doctoral theses, papers published in peer-reviewed journals, and approved action research conducted between 2023 and 2025.
- Submissions will be evaluated according to the conference acceptance criteria; incomplete applications will not be considered.
- Previous participation in the Ministry of Education's Educational Research Forum in 2023 or 2024 is a disqualifying criterion.
- Submissions are accepted in Arabic or English; the abstract should match the submission language.
- For practical reasons, proposals that are not selected may not receive a notification or justification.
- The conference will cover the participation costs of researchers whose scientific papers are accepted by the conference's scientific committee.

Submission Requirements
- Submit applications using the online link provided on the conference website.

Attach a research abstract of no less than 200 and no more than 250 words in Word format, using the official template on the conference website, along with the full text in PDF as follows:
- Doctoral or Master's theses
- Formal action research study
- Published peer-reviewed article/paper as it appears in the journal
- Attach an official personal photo with a white background, size 40mm × 60mm (6×4 cm), colored and recent, in JPG format, per passport photo specifications.
- File naming format: Participation Type – Full Name – Theme – Year (PDF).
